My first taste of “community” happened in Grade 5 when I was obsessed with Art Attack and wanted to create projects with my friends. After talking to my teacher, what began as a small recess club turned into a lifelong passion for bringing ideas to life. Whether it’s an art project, giving back, or simply talking with people, building community has become a core part of who I am.

After moving to Toronto, it was tough to find community and friends. So in the summer of 2024, I created an event online for anyone to sign up. To my delight it started as 8 people, became a space for strangers to connect while exploring the city every Saturday morning for 12 weeks.
